Hence it is looking for a very committed humanitarian professional to fill the position of WPE Program Assistant based in Buea to assist the WPE Manager in overlooking WPE program in the region  summary The WPE Program Assistant will be responsible for assisting the implementation of Women’s Protection and Empowerment program activities in the Southwest region of Cameroon. The main objective of this position is to ensure all procedures are followed (human resources, finance, supply chain) and are in line with technical necessity of protection programming. Hence, the WPE Program Assistant should have knowledge of protection and/ or gender-based violence programming and should have strong analytical and management skills. Main responsibilities Provide guidance to field program staff on compliance with IRC and donors procedures in the submission of various documents to other sectors (supply chain, human resources, finance, and security). Manage correspondence (Receipt, transmission, response and filing) for WPE sector. Ensure the archiving of project documents using a classification system that ensures confidentiality. Organize the electronic archiving of sector documentation on the IRC server/Box. Assist field teams in operations procedures: travel authorization, per diem requests, and justification of funds.  Prepare travel for consultants (if needed) and sector partners in the field (travel authorization, justification of funds, orientations). Prepare all purchase requisitions for the different project sectors online and follow up with the Supply Chain until delivery to the requesting parties (program or partners). Maintain the database of purchase orders (PCI materials, supplies and personal protective equipment), updating procurement plans and follow up with the Supply Chain department;  Prepare monthly payment for all volunteers working on protection programs; Prepare partners' requests for funds (health facilities, CBOs etc), follow up on the payment and ensure that the liquidation of funds allocated to partners is done in accordance with IRC procedures; Participate in the preparation of the meetings of the different sectors of the project: workshop, meetings,...and for activities requiring funds, elaborate the request for funds and the liquidation according to the IRC procedures; Liaise with HR, SC, finance to adapt procedures to Protection programming; Assist WPE officers in the internal and external reporting. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the program.  Comply with IRC Cameroon's safety and security procedures. Communicate all security information to his/her supervisor or his/her supervisor's supervisor. Notify the supervisor of any problems, complaints or useful information regarding any aspect of the program.
