PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess business risk proposal (Accept/Reject Risk) on the basis of existing underwriting guidelines; Issue quotations as per guidelines and within the TATs Prepare tender and prequalification documentations as per guidelines and within the TATs Attend to online tenders and prequalification documents as per guidelines and within the TATs Requisition and good maintenance of departmental stationery and equipment Ensure that CIC renewable tender documents remain current always Processing of departmental payments such as dues to service providers and tender purchases Provide fortnightly quotation conversion reports Provide monthly intelligence reports on prevailing rates Service to all customers within a reasonable time PERSON SPECIFICATIONS Academic Qualifications Diploma in relevant field / Relevant technical training certificate / part qualification in relevant professional field Professional Qualifications Experience Up to one (1) years’ relevant experience Skills and Attributes Excellent communication and presentation skills Problem solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills Good negotiation skills Good analytical skills Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications Understanding of the working environment /competitors Technical competence in insurance Basic knowledge of regulations by AKI and IRA
